AI4HF presented and discussed at "NextGenHealth" Conference

Carina Dantas, CEO of SHINE 2Europe, took the stage at the NextGenHealth Conference to present the AI4HF project, focusing on the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence in health diagnosis and treatment.

NextGenHealth, held in Porto, is a event spotlighting emerging health trends, particularly the integration of advanced technologies and AI into healthcare. Aimed at students and multidisciplinary health professionals, the conference explores how innovation is shaping the future of medicine.

Carina's presentation was part of the session "New Digital Trends in the Health Area", hosted on October 18th at the ICBAS - Instituto de Ciências Biomédicas Abel Salazar, Universidade do Porto.

The AI4HF project served as a central case study, illustrating both the societal benefits and the critical challenges posed by AI in healthcare. Carina emphasized SHINE 2Europe's commitment to addressing these challenges by incorporating ethical AI principles, fostering social innovation, and empowering citizens to play an active role in shaping AI’s application in healthcare.
